"Perry Franklin Barton, who married Elizabeth Wells, was an MD who went to California before the turn of the century to practice. His wife died only last spring at the age of 106. Perry had a large family, almost all of whom settled out west. Richard Barton is one of Perry's sons. [then mentions Richards obituary]"
