 | Henry Barton (1757-bef 1810) Military Land Warrant For three years service in the Continental Line he was awarded 100 acres of land, warrant issued 17 Nov 1790. Henry subsequently sold his warrant and signed it over to John Clay along with three other men's warrants for a total of 500 acres. John Clay had the land surveyed on 12 May 1797 and afterwards assigned it to John Fowler who in turn assigned it to John Jordan who thus the patent was issued to; Patent #397 to John Jordan in Ohio on 29 Mar 1799.
