      !BUSINESS: Founded and was president of Batten, Barton, Durstine and Osborne, New York City, advertising agency (1919). Created the character Betty Crocker. Wrote a best-selling book "The Man Nobody Knows" (1925) which presented Jesus Christ as a successful businessman.
