!MILITARY Civil War 1861-1865 Cited in Barton Roll of Honor, compiled by Carl James Barton, first ed. 2001 "CSA. Enlisted as a Private in Franklin County, Alabama, date unknown for a term of 12 months. Served in Company E, 2nd Alabama Volunteer Regiment, "Franklin Blues", under the command of Captain John Goodwin. He applied for a pension while living in Fayette County, Alabama on 11 June 1903. This record shows that in March 1861 he enlisted as a Private at Point Pleasant, Louisian. Served in Company D, 25th LA Regiment and discharged in April 1865...
